- Q. Are Infra Red / Quartz heaters suitable for out door use?
- A. Infra Red / Quartz heating is the only type of heat which is instant, directional and is unaffected by wind or draughts. Feel The Heat offer a range of outdoor heaters which are fully water proof (IP54 rated) and rust proof.
- Q. Is installation specialised?
- A. No. Any competent, qualified electrician can install our heaters. Mobile units can simply be plugged into a 13A socket.
- Q. Can Infra Red / Quartz heaters be used in hazardous areas?
- A. No. Short wave Infra Red / Quartz heaters must not be installed within any hazardous area unless it is installed in conformity with BS5345. If there are any doubts, it is advised to consult the Factory Inspector.
- Q. Do these heaters project UV heat?
- A. No. All heaters supplied by Feel The Heat project only infra red heat.
- Q. Is there any light produced by Infra Red / Quartz heaters?
- A. Yes. About 8-9% of the output is light which gives gentle illumination.
